The HCMI tool enables hotels and accommodation providers to calculate their carbon footprint and was developed by the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance in partnership with the World Travel & Tourism Council. Green Key offers a digital version of the tool in partnership with BeCause.

Designed for small and family-run tourism businesses, the Good Travel Scan offers a practical self-assessment based on 10 sustainability values and 27 questions, providing a meaningful self-check without committing to full certification.

Developed by the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, these tools include a utilities tracker, action planner, simulation tool, and waste measurement methodology to help hotels operate responsibly and sustainably.
